Can I use the Day Hopper service?

The Day Hopper service can be accessed by individuals who are in receipt of benefit, unemployed, have a disability, lone parents and elderly people.

How can I become a member?

Information can be obtained from contacting Coalfield Community Transport on 01290 429088.  You must complete and return a membership form including the membership fee of £5.00.  Your membership is renewable every year.  We will issue you with a membership card and number.

Please remember our minibuses only carry 16 passengers and seats will be allocated on a first come first served basis. So remember and book early.

What will the service cost me?

You will need to become a member and that will cost you £5.00.  The Day Hopper trips will cost, on average, between £12 and £15 depending on the places we visit.

How do I make payment for the services?

Facilities will be available to pay on the bus.

What do children pay?

Children under 14 pay half price for membership and for the day trips.  We can provide booster seats for small children but we need to be informed at the time of booking.

If I travel in my wheelchair will help be available?

No.  I am sorry we are not able to provide personal escorts, but you can bring your own escort or a friend to travel with you.  Escorts do not need to be members, but are still required to pay for the service.

Can my friends and I go together?

Yes, as long as you are all members.  Please remember our minibuses only carry 16 passengers and seats will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
